Patricia Barrios from Venezuela<\/h3>\n

Patricia Barrios, moved to the Netherlands, from Venezuela in 2016. In Venezuela, she had been working as an accountant. After working for a while as an accountant at PwC in Antilles, she moved to the Netherlands with her family where she continued to work as a finance manager at a startup. However, currently Patricia along with her husband, is running a Latin food truck. <\/p>\n

Being a son of a local entrepreneur in Togo, Nestor grew up helping at his mother\u2019s shop. In 2004 he moved to The Netherlands with his wife. Recently he has began making plans to initiate a real-estate business.<\/p>\n

Shifting perspective from NGO to Business<\/a><\/h2>\n

Daniel Pungu moved to the Netherlands from Congo and for the past 10 years he has been working with an NGO. Having seen many good things done by NGOs in Africa, Daniel started to believe that a business revolving around sustainability is the answer to fighting poverty on his continent. That is the reason he began working on developing his business ideas, planning to enter the agricultural industry and working on contextualizing sustainable development in the African culture.<\/p>\n

Rasool Modaresi, who is from Iran, has now been living in the Netherlands for almost 4 years. He studied Industrial Engineering and used to work as a quality control expert back home. He also worked at the metro in the control project department. Currently he is working at PostNL, every day is facing the Dutch weather to make sure everyone gets their letters on time.<\/p>\n

18 years ago, Sheila Cordova moved to the Netherlands from Peru. She is a lawyer who gives legal advice to Spanish people in the Netherlands. Baking is a hobby that she immensely enjoys and seeing the increase in the number of people with gluten and lactose deficiency in the Netherlands, she decided to work on producing gluten and lactose free cakes as well.<\/p>\n
